Since 1980, Joel Weisbrod has been designing and developing database software applications for PC type computers. Beginning with Basic, Better Basic, Compiled Basic, Assembler, and C he created many of his original software products for the pre-visual environment.
Beginning in 1990, Joel began programming in a fourth generation language called Dataflex 3.0 from DataAccess Corporation. This Object Oriented programming environment was a new and revolutionary approach to creating robust and re-usable program code.
Now, 23 years later, Joel continues to use Dataflex as his preferred programming language and development system. The newest version, Dataflex 17.1, can be used to develop and share applications across many different platforms including the standard Windows desktop as well as on the World Wide Web. This new and inventive approach to programming is a new milestone in the software development arena.
